There has been a fire at the Grand View hotel this morning and the police and fire brigade have been at the hotel all day and a number of roads have been closed  as a result.  The smoke did not blow in our direction and the children were not in any harm from smoke at any point in the day.  At the end of the day staff were at all intersections to direct children to the safe path.
